We revitalized what had been an overgrown and dark double lot by adding borders with diverse plantings to give interest throughout the year. Multiple outdoor “rooms” were created for entertaining, relaxing, or playing.
PATIO AND PERGOLA ENTERTAINING
This pergola and patio were designed to create a natural flow from house to garden, extending the living and entertaining space outdoors. We created an elevated stone patio with a pergola for escaping the sun and shading the home interior, and added a sloping perennial border with rock hardscape that transitions to a grassy yard.
MODERN OUTDOOR LIVING
We turned this backyard into an extension of the home by adding a covered outdoor entertainment room complete with a spa and TV. The surrounding landscape and plant combinations offer year-round interest with color, texture, and blooms.
