This modern farm kitchen now reflects the grandness of this historic Laurelhurst home, replacing a cramped 1970s remodel. We brought back the charm and created a spacious feel by opening up the backstairs and tearing down a shared wall to create a kitchen that is truly the center of all home activity, with materials and textures that give a sense of comfortable beauty without pretension.
